Pete leads Engine’s central planning function. It’s a group of planners, strategists and branding experts that help Engine clients define their future. Whether it’s developing a brand strategy and segmentation for a high end holiday firm, or convincing a self storage firm’s CEO that a TV led marketing campaign could deliver a step change to their business.
Prior to running the central planning function, Pete was the founding partner of Edwards Groom Saunders, a successful independent comms planning business that was acquired by Engine in 2009.
Before forming EGS, Pete was MD of Starcom UK and a Managing Partner of Starcom EMEA. In his 20 year career, Pete has been recognised as a pioneering communications thinker, most notably as the lead strategist on the multiple award-winning Stella Artois ‘Movies That Matter’ campaign and Campaign Magazine’s “Top Media Thinkers” of the Year.
