James is a passionate builder of brands. He currently advises and partners with CEO's and CMO's of 21st Century brands. His experience helping to build the worlds most loved brand Apple, working directly with Steve Jobs every day for over a decade gives him a unique perspective on Brands, and on constructing the narrative for ground-breaking Products.

After building Media Arts Lab uniquely for Apple, he now builds and leads teams of world-class talent, modeled uniquely around the challenges faced by world's most disruptive companies today. He is currently advising and partnering with Airbnb to help forge a lasting cultural impact through brand experiences and community-driven behaviors.

Originally from the UK, he's a graduate of the London School of Economics and lived and worked in New York before moving to Los Angeles. He lives in Venice with his wife Marie, an art director, and their two children Leo (9) and Manon (6).

Worked directly with Steve Jobs to expand the agency relationship as the sole external agency partner. Expanded MAL from 40 person account in LA to a global, multi-service unique network with 600 people and 14 offices, initially to launch iPhone across the globe in 2007. Intimately involved in creating the product launch campaigns for 6 versions of iPhone, the Mac vs PC campaign and iPad launch.
