Luke Snellin has proven expertise at getting sensitive, natural performances from children and young people.
He is currently gearing up to direct his debut feature film ‘The Wanderers’ from a self-penned script. Billed as a ‘non conventional Brit pop teen musical’. The film will feature original music written by Tim Wheeler (Ash), and Graham Coxon (Blur).
His short film ‘Mixtape’ was nominated for a BAFTA in 2010 and won The Grand Prize in the Virgin Media Shorts Competition. Luke’s follow up to ‘Mixtape’, ‘Disco’, was long listed for a BAFTA in 2012
Luke’s short ‘Jess//Jim’ was the first ever 24 Hour Short Film for Old Vic New Voices – exec produced by Kevin Spacey. Shot by Danny Cohen, the film was conceived, shot, cut and finished in just 24 hours.
Most recently, Luke directed the critically acclaimed TV drama ‘Banana’ for E4.
