As Chief Digital and Innovation Officer, Ben created a structure within OMD that embeds digital and disruptive thinking into every corner of the organization. Now as CIO, Ben is responsible for creating an investment offering that delivers the elusive goal of category expertise plus cross-media nimbleness.
An 18-year expert in digital, Ben made the jump to interactive from analog in the late ‘90s. He joined OMD in 2011 after eight years at IPG, having built digital and integrated practices at both media-only and full-service agencies. There, Ben created new client services including search and mobile; established centers of excellence in social and video; and built cross-training programs for all employees.
Ben is an expert at helping clients convert media spend into business investment. Under his tenure, digital results, budgets and departments have grown exponentially. His expertise has been sought from the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, as well as the DMA and AAAA/IAB. In his free time, Ben tests his mettle at squash and bar trivia.
