Hired ad-interim to help revive key brands in the USG portfolio. Working together with Design and Sales I created and implemented successful communication platforms. Leveraging the rich heritage and DNA of each brand I developed offline brand activations that resulted in online buzz. Within three months I managed to engage both existing and new customers, driving commercial ROI, social media reach, PR value and special SKU’s. This subsequently let to the blueprint for the company’s in-house creative communications department.

I'm particularly proud of the collaboration between Le Coq Sportif and a concept named: Pop-up Pétanque. Popping up in seemingly random places throughout Amsterdam and sometimes Cannes this concept, by an illustrious group of founders: Thijs Biersteker, Marlies Olbertijn & Simon de Koning is all about getting together, drinking wine, sharing some baguettes and throwing a Jeux de Boule ball or two. Taking this French 'social sport' and giving it a twist the Pop-up Pétanque guys are essentially about enjoying the finer things in life in company of good friends. This mindset and lifestyle matches the DNA of the Le Coq Sportif brand like nothing else. Hence I contributed to their concept by involving the brand and co-created some simple, well executed assets that enhanced the 'game's' experience of everyone involved. Driving brand awareness and online reach for both parties.
