Title | There is a lot of love in good food |
Brief | We see a mother nursing her tiny baby. As the film progresses, we watch the little boy growing up and realise that the single mother is coping with everything alone: meals, illnesses, the tender times and the conflicts. The boy becomes a stroppy teenager, and finally a young man. In the last scene, as he leaves the table after a hurried meal with his friend, he returns to kiss his mother on the cheek. “Thanks for the food, mum,” he says. She looks touched by this rare display of affection. There is a lot of love in good food. |
