We see a woman lingering in an airport cell phone lot, a man intently prepping latkes, and a young man clambering to wrap up pre-holiday to-dos in the office, all noticeably elated by an unseen message received on their phones. The spot closes as a Delta First Officer and customer send a familiar text message marking the beginning of the holidays for Delta customers and employees around the world— “just landed.” Delta Air Lines’ new video not only delivers on holiday sentiment, but it also celebrates diversity and inclusion across various seasonal traditions and ethnic backgrounds. The campaign is directed by the sibling duo Mundo Sisters (Rena Mundo Croshere and Nadine Mundo), making it a powerful vehicle for celebrating women’s voices in advertising. Renowned for their cinematic storytelling skills and ability to capture authentic narratives, Mundo Sisters was the perfect female directing team to bring the campaign to life. The two siblings are also part of the exciting new Free The Bid initiative. |
