Philosophy In this spot, we introduce KFC’s newest invention, a pizza with a fried chicken fillet for a base instead of dough. Reasoning that this is better than pizza we felt there was no better way to prove it than by taking it over to Italy to get the ultimate endorsement – from real life Italians, the inventors of Pizza themselves. But KFC desecrating their proud history with a Chizza didn’t go down so well, as multiple everyday Italians told us on camera exactly what they thought of our invention, and what we could do with it. But instead of letting their seething anger ruin our ad, we just subtitled it as if they passionately loved it, making sure we got our valuable Italian blessing one way or another.
