A Central St. Martin's graduate, Nadia Marquard Otzen hails from Copenhagen. Her introduction into film and commercials came when director Chris Palmer took her under his wing. She worked with him on many award-winning commercials spanning over several years before starting her own career as director, debuting with a 40-minute film album titled 'Black Summer' by the Pony Tales. It premiered at Cph:Dox festival with a live performance.
Since then Nadia has directed promos for Rae Morris, The 1975, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sandé and the sound of 2015 winners Years and Years. At the 2015 MVAs she was nominated as Best New Director.
Her commercial credits include work for the EU and Scottish Referendum, Persil and an emotive piece for Danish Railways.
