During his study Business Administration Jan-Willem started his first company Tombok Internet Recruiting in cooperation with VNU Business Media. In 2006 he founded digital agency Greenberry. His distinctive view on innovation helped Greenberry to grow as it is right now. As innovation strategist and head of strategy and user experience Jan-Willem helps large companies and start-ups to create disruptive products and services that improves people's lives and create competitive advantage. Within Greenberry he developed different methods for creating new digital products and services.
Jan-Willem is author of 'Voorbij de Startup-Mania: Innoveren op eigen kracht', which will be published in oktober 2017. He is also a regular public speaker (Digital Marketing Live, Emerce E-Day, e.g.) and he has written articles for Tijdschrift voor Marketing, Adformatie and Emerce. Jan-Willem's work has been recognized on several award festivals, including Esprix, The Lovie Awards, SAN Accent and FWA. Moreover, he is a part-lecturer at Nyenrode Business University, University of Twente and Hogeschool Utrecht and is one of the organizers of The Kick Utrecht (creative network event).
In his spare-time Jan-Willem likes to travel and is fond of cars and motorcycles.Jan-Willem lives in Utrecht together with his wife, son, daughter and dog
