As the leader of Razorfish’s business development efforts in Chicago, I am responsible for developing new client relationships and building internal teams to deliver on our clients’ needs. My experience encompasses branding, strategy, creative, store design, ecommerce and digital marketing initiatives for B2B and B2C brands.
Working in a business development role means that my responsibilities span a wide spectrum of areas, which definitely keeps things exciting. Externally, I have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of some of the biggest brands in the world. Internally, I collaborate with talent from every discipline across the company. Each day brings something new, and I love the adventure of it.
For me, the Razorfish differentiator is the people. With over a decade of experience under my belt, I can honestly say that, at Razorfish, I am surrounded by the smartest people I’ve ever encountered. In an industry such as digital, where it’s imperative that you work extremely hard and stay ahead of the curve, being surrounded by such delightful, talented people every day makes my job that much more rewarding.
At Razorfish, we’re blending left- and right-brain talent in a way that’s unmatched across the industry. Traditionally, you could go to consultants for hard-hitting business impact, or you could go to the creative powerhouses to make waves with kick-ass creative. With Razorfish, you don’t have to sacrifice concrete results for outstanding creative, and vice versa. Our clients get the best of both worlds within our four walls, and it’s amazing to be a part of.
Though I’m based in Chicago and have lived all over the United States, I’ll always be a Buckeye at heart, having grown up in Ohio and studied at The Ohio State University. I am one of those crazy-loyal Cleveland sports fans that you hear about, so my poor Chicagoan coworkers are always enduring my endless game-day taunts. When not at work, you’ll probably find me cheering on the Buckeyes/Cavs/Indians/Browns or enjoying time with my kids and husband.
