Anna Russett

Anna Russett

Creative Director at Havas Chicago
United States

I make work work for the Internet. At school they called me a new media artist, on YouTube they call me a creator, on Instagram they call me an influencer, and in the advertising world they call me a strategist. I’ve gained an audience of over 200,000 across online platforms where I create video, photography, text and code to share vlogs, tutorials, internet and social media art that encourages other young women to be critical of and take part in shaping the world around us.

My work is heavily informed by my online community of young girls and their feedback, as well as my background in fine art photography, video and new media—having received my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014. My passion for communicating in contemporary ways brought me into the advertising world with Havas Chicago, where I started working as an intern in 2014, and now work as a Senior Strategist across multiple brands. My brand experience at Havas includes Coca-Cola, Reynolds Consumer Products, AutoZone, and Kmart. In addition to my agency work, I’ve worked as a social influencer for the past five years and have worked with brands such as Nike, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Macy's, and SEE Eyewear. I offer consulting and strategic guidance as services, and have helped start-ups and brands navigate their presence online. I enjoy public speaking and have been invited to speak at conferences, universities, and organizations in the US and abroad. Let’s do something awesome together.

PLace : Chicago
As someone working in both the agency world and the influencer world, I’ve developed a unique point of view of how to work with influencers and brands in a collaborative way that benefits both parties and engages my audience in a real way. I understand a brand’s needs and also know what really resonates with my audience. I like to collaborate with brand teams to come up with the most interesting, authentic way we can convey their goals and messages to my amazing audience of young women. Let’s work together!
