#SaveTheBlue The new chapter in the Canary Islands and DEC BBDO #StopBlueMonday action asks us to stop associating blue with sadness. ¬ The third Monday of the year—Blue Monday—considered the most depressing day of the year is the theme behind one of Canary Islands Tourism’s international campaigns, designed by DEC BBDO, that has received the most awards over recent years. ¬ This year, the campaign’s goal is to make the sad connotation of the word “blue” a thing of the past and show that all types of blue transmit happiness and joy. ¬ The video of the action will be published on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram in 10 languages, for practically all of Europe, on Monday 15 January. And it will be forwarded to a million tourists by e-mail.
