|Story||1960’s Denmark. A man of middle eastern origin comes to Denmark, working for a blacksmith and later brings his family. The negative attitude and racism the family constantly meets creates ripples that are felt to this day. This is a familiar case for a lot of ethnic minorities in Denmark and throughout the western society. Even though outspoken racism and discrimination is less visible than in the sixties (in Denmark at least) the problem hasn’t disappeared. People of ethnicity still feels the discrimination and isn’t handed the same opportunities as their ethnic Danish counterparts when it comes to education, jobs and social welfare.|
