| Brief | To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, the JFK Presidential Library and Museum reintroduced a new generation to the man who inspired the mission. A fully synchronized augmented reality event recreated every moment and manoeuvre in real time, exactly 50 years later. During a launch party at the Library a 363-foot, full-scale AR replica of the Saturn V rocket launched at precisely 9:32am on July 16. The entire mission was livestreamed on Twitch. Viewers could even practice their own moon landings with interactive AR games. |
