| Story | A black-naped oriole flies through the new Housing & Development Board eco-town in Singapore and introduces us to its neighbours. Through its cheeky and cheery view of its neighbours we can see how HDB's new estates are built in harmony with nature and enhance the quality of life for people from all walks of life. |
| Philosophy | We made a local bird – a Black Naped Oriole - the narrator and hero of our film. Through her tongue-in-cheek view of her neighbours (Singapore residents in the adjoining HDB estates), it showed not just that HDB estates are built in harmony with nature, but also how HDB’s planning and buildings have a positive impact on the lives of its residents. |
| Problem | Over the last 60 years HDB have put more than roofs over heads of residents. Their many public spaces and eco-planning are designed to enhance the quality of lives. We needed to highlight these facts which can often be overlooked by residents. |
