After starting his career at Unilever Sri Lanka, Sagar then fell into, and in love with advertising. Kicking things off at MullenLowe Sri Lanka in account management, and later moving onto take on digital and strategic roles in advertising, he now possess over 7 years of experience in the Sri Lankan ad industry, with his strengths and expertise spreading over the disciplines of strategic planning and digital marketing.
Being a two time Young Spikes Digital Winner, he carries valuable experience in having represented Sri Lanka in the Digital competition at Spikes Asia Singapore in 2015 & 2016, and also as a delegate in 2019. With a driving passion to create communication that will move and shape communities for the better, he has worked alongside many leading international and local brands such as Unilever, Dialog Axiata, Ceylon Biscuits, John Keells Holdings, Red Bull and Samsung to name a few.
Sagar was one of the chief contributors towards Magic Mango being recognized on multiple local and global stages, including the Effie Awards, Epica Awards Sri Lanka, and Campaign Asia's Agency of the Year Awards, where Magic Mango bagged a Silver as Creative Agency of the Year (the first independent agency in the country to do so). Some of his key strengths include his ability to easily interact with people, project management, strategy and creative presentation, identifying market insights and his inner passion to achieve greater things.
