A STRONG BACKGROUND FORCE
The Finnish Association of Marketing Communication Agencies is a co-operation network whose purpose is to promote its members' professional and economic operating conditions.
Membership is open to advertising agencies, media agencies, direct advertising agencies, graphic design agencies, new media agencies and other agencies which design and produce advertising.
Key goals are to improve the quality and effectiveness of advertising and to protect the interests of the advertising field while working to enhance its image. We regularly issue statements on legislative proposals and take part in numerous co-operation bodies.
Information on the advertising field
The MTL constantly produces research information for its members. Together with other organizations we survey the volume of advertising yearly, procure information on changes in the volume of media advertising monthly and survey public attitudes towards advertising every other year.
Membership of the EACA ensures constant international interaction. We maintain active contacts with associations in other countries. We have also co-operation with Clio Awards.
Why should an advertiser choose one of our member agencies? Agencies approved for membership in the MTL can offer their customers expertise in advertising, marketing and media on both the creative and technical levels.
Our members are well-versed in contractual usage and follow developments and forecasts in the field.
Through our association and with its help, our members are formidable negotiating partners. After all their combined market share of advertising business in Finland is around 80%.
