The MaKSZ (ex MaRs) is a young association of advertising agencies founded by 13 leading advertising agencies in 1995. The main aim was to form an independent organisation representing the interests of the advertising agencies. It's a member of EACA.
Its mission statement is the representation of the interests, which is being realised on different levels: to protect the interests of the whole industry, to lead discussions with client side, the media and the marketing research companies. The other main aim is much diversified and different: it suports all the projects which can serve the development of the Hungarian marketing communication industry. It became MAKSZ
