Swedish Post claims it is the ‘safest shipping company’ -but safe is boring so they created a new mobile app called “Do you have Sweden’s safest hands?” where users were challenged to deliver a package from A to B to enhance the company’s image.
The game was devised to make the concept as real as possible- Gyro, GPS and an Accelerometer were all utilized to ensure the travelling details were all correct. Extra points for safety were incurred if you stopped by a post box.
230,000 attempts of the game were recorded with 18,000 individual competitors. The winners were those who ‘delivered’ the package in the quickest time and in the safest manner-their reward was an actual package with a prize enclosed.
