About MEC

“To be our clients’ most valuable business partner, famous for inspiring people and exceptional results."

If you like ordinary, we’re not for you.

If ‘beyond comfort’ thrills you, if ‘expanding possible’ attracts, then you’ll do your best work here.
You’ll do it because we’ll provoke you, challenge you and unashamedly ask for more.
We believe there are no limits for passion, imagination and wonder. And it’s only when we explore the unknown that we can truly thrive.

That's why we're so passionate about investing in our people to help them thrive collectively and individually.

We’ll reach out and help you explore the uncharted because that’s where ideas flourish. It’s where people and brands grow.

You owe it to yourself and we owe it to our clients. It’s the MEC way.

Don’t just live. Thrive.

MEC UK has been selected for the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For, for the seventh consecutive year, in recognition of its commitment to developing its people and “Don’t Just Live…Thrive” culture.

MEC secured 84th place in the list this year against stiff competition from over 4,000 companies that also apply to take part in the contest each year.

The agency performed best in the My Team category for its collaborative approach to working, achieving a 78% positive score. Over 80% of colleagues felt that people around them not only care for one another, but go out of their way to be helpful to others within their group.

Personal Growth was the second highest category score, for which The Sunday Times singled out MEC’s motto to help its employees thrive as a key reason it stood out from the crowd and is therefore worthy of being a winner. It also credited the launch of the Evolution apprenticeship programme with the Live Hire at Ad Week Europe 2016.

MEC UK’s Managing Director Sarah Hennessy, said: “We are incredibly proud to feature once again in this Top 100 league of best companies to work for. We put enormous focus around our people, our clients and our culture and it’s extremely satisfying to be recognised for this by the Sunday Times.”

Clare Alger, MEC’s Director of People and Culture, added: “Featuring in this prestigious Best Companies league for seven consecutive years is testament to the commitment we place on ensuring we are always ahead in creating a great place for our people to grow and thrive. I’m looking forward to building on this success going forward.”
