Aid organizations rely on donors, and Doctors Without Borders is no exception. But as its objective is to help people in the event of conflicts, pandemics and natural disasters, it often finds itself on an emergency footing and is forced to launch an appeal for donations. Far better to have the funds in advance. So instead of waiting for the money to come in, the Belgian branch of the organization (known by its French name Médecins sans Frontières) and the agency Famous Grey developed a new system: Prepaid Donations. The digital tool allows donations to be made in advance so they can be activated immediately in the event of an emergency.
