BETC PARIS ANNOUNCES THE HIRING OF NEW INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE TALENT

With 2023 coming to an end, BETC Paris announces the hiring of new international talent among its creative department

With 2023 coming to an end, BETC Paris announces the hiring of new international talent among its creative department and confirms its status as a global agency.

 

This new talent will join the growing creative teams led by Antoinette Beatson and Alasdhair Macgregor (Vice-Presidents & Executive Creative Directors – BETC Paris), under the supervision of Stephane Xiberras (President & Chief Creative Officer - BETC Paris).

All coming from different backgrounds, they will navigate between Paris, London, or Amsterdam and will help strengthen the existing group synergies with BETC London (UK) and Havas Lemz (Amsterdam).

1. Daniela De Seta - Creative Director – BETC Paris

Daniela De Seta started her career in 2008 as a copywriter at DDB Milano and then joined Armando Testa in Milano in 2011. That same year, she placed second at the Young Lions in the Print category. She becomes a Creative Director at Leo Burnett Torino, where she works along the teams in Leo Burnett Detroit on Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge. After this experience on automotive accounts, she moves to TBWA\Worldwide Milano. She leaves for Publicis Milano in 2019 where she was awarded at the Cannes Lions for the campaigns "The Virtual Heineken Silver" and "The Office Cleaners" for Heineken.
For her first working experience in France, Daniela joins BETC Paris as Creative Director, where she will handle Danone international account.

2. Nick Bakshi – Creative Director - BETC Paris

After starting his career at GREY New York, Nick crossed the Atlantic to work at Ogilvy Paris. He then joined BETC Paris, where he stayed for five years before moving to Publicis Milan/Le Pub as Creative Director in 2022. During his career, Nick has won over 30 international awards from all of the top festivals, and has created memorable campaigns for iconic brands like Heineken, Netflix, Coca-Cola, Duolingo, Peugeot, IBM and evian. Today, Nick returns to BETC Paris as Creative Director on Citroën.

3. Abi Stephenson & Matt Jones – Senior Creatives – BETC Paris

Named as Faces To Watch by Campaign Magazine and winners of the Cannes Young Lions in the Digital category in 2022, Abi Stephenson and Matt Jones started their creative careers in various indie ad agencies in the UK such as VCCP, Lucky Generals and Droga5 London. They then moved to BBC Creative in 2019, making campaigns for their tentpole TV shows and sporting events. They then joined VML London in 2020, going onto produce work for offices across the European region.  During this stint, they won numerous awards for their "Camden Makeover" campaign for Wendy's and ‘’Speech to Street’’ campaign for Snapchat. Matt and Abi also received many awards in other ad competitions. Abi Stephenson received the Female Frontier Awards by Campaign in 2020 and was named Future Leader also by Campaign in 2022. Today, Matt and Abi have joined BETC Paris as Senior Creatives. They will work on BETC Paris' international accounts such as Citroën, Lipton and Danone.

4. Tristan Lenczner & Simon Carr – Senior Creatives – BETC Paris

Both English, Tristan Lenczner and Simon Carr have worked together since university. They started their career in 2015 respectively as copywriter and art director at DDB Vilnius in Lithuania. After that, they left for Innocean Worldwide UK. They continued to combine their love for travelling and working as in 2017, they moved to the Netherlands where they worked for Iris Amsterdam and TBWA\NEBOKO for clients like Adidas, McDonald’s and more. They become freelancers in 2021 which allowed them to create campaigns for several agencies, such as Vice, Jung Von Matt, McCann Worldwide and 180 Global. Today, the multi prized duo join BETC Paris as Senior Creatives where they will work on numerous accounts, like Deezer or Danone.

5. Marcelo Carvalho – Art Director – BETC Paris

Born in Portugal, Marcelo studied graphic design before starting his career at JWT Portugal as Art Director in 2014. He then moves to the UK where he worked in creative agencies such as AMV BBDO, BBH London, Ogilvy & Mather London and W+K London. He paused his career to study jazz guitarist for three years. He rejoins the ad industry in 2021 freelancing for Edelman, McGarry Bowen and McCann Erickson London before leaving for Publicis Milano in 2022. During his career, Marcelo created some illustrious campaigns for Vodafone. At BETC Paris, he will team up with Aklan Garcia and will work on Michelin, Nutella, Red Star or CANAL+
