What is the e-store and how does it work?

AdForum.com's e-store is a section of the website where we offer for sale a variety of information and research products for the advertising community. The CD-ROMs we offer are published, burned and shipped by AdForum.com. The e-store also proposes a selection of books and publications published by our partners, who will ship you their products directly. And finally, the e-store offers a selection of books through Amazon.com in a section called "Bookstore".

What is my shopping cart and how does it work?

An AdForum.com shopping cart is created when you select a product to purchase from the e-store or anywhere else on the site. Your shopping cart contains a personalized record of all products selected for purchase and will remain open until you either complete the e-store purchase or specifically empty it. Should you leave AdForum.com's website with your shopping cart still open, you may return to it and continue your purchase the next time you visit AdForum.com. When you are interested in purchasing a product from the e-store or anywhere on the site, you need only click on the shopping cart icon or the words "Add to Cart". After you have created a shopping cart, you will be asked to confirm your order, select a shipping method and enter certain other registration information. Finally, you will be asked for your credit card information and a final order confirmation before your purchase is accepted. We will also confirm your order to your e-mail address once your credit card payment has been successfully processed. For Amazon.com and some publishers, the sale happens on their site and does not involve your AdForum shopping cart.

Can I place an order offline - by fax or phone?

While we encourage you to use our online services, we do accept orders by fax at +1 201-792-7234. Please be sure to clearly describe the product you wish to order, your preferred shipping method, shipping name and address, e-mail address and your credit card billing information (name on card, billing address, card type and expiration date). As with online orders, we will confirm your order by e-mail once your credit card payment has been successfully processed. On the other hand, we don't take orders by phone but we will be happy to answer your questions on the phone and help you through the online process if needed.

Can I place an order if I am located outside of the United States?

Absolutely! We are pleased to be able to receive and ship orders anywhere in the world for delivery within a few days time. However, please remember that the prices for all orders are stated in U.S. Dollars but will be converted to your local credit card billing currency by the credit card bank processor. Note that duties, customs and taxes vary by country, and compliance to local laws in this regard is the customer's responsibility.

What forms of payment do you accept?

AdForum.com's e-store accepts VISA, American Express and Master Card. If you prefer to pay by check (made payable to Maydream, Inc.) or money order, please contact us first:

Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes. All credit card information is processed using a secure server using the Secure Socket Layer Protocol with 128 bit encryption. When you’re ordering offline, your credit card information is deleted from our files once your order is verified and processed.

What is your shipping policy?

Unless otherwise specified, we commit to processing e-store orders within 1 business day after they are received. We offer two shipping options using leading transport firms -- 1 day delivery and 3-5 day delivery. The price varies by destination and time. You will be asked to select a shipping option during the purchase process. These charges will be added to your final order. Please note that delivery may be delayed by foul weather, inbound customs or other factors which are not within AdForum.com's control.

How can I check the status of my order?

Should you not receive an order when expected or have any other questions regarding your e-store order, please e-mail us or call us at +1 201-792-3007 8 am - 5 pm EST in the USA. When contacting us, please refer to your order by the Order Number listed on your purchase confirmation.

What is your return policy?

For books and publications, the return policies are defined by our partners, who actually provide the goods. For the CD-ROMs provided by AdForum.com, there is no return or refund. However, if there is a technical problem with a CD-ROM purchased from AdForum.com's e-store, please contact us by e-mail or by phone at +1 201-792-3007 and we will be happy to arrange to refund your payment or provide a replacement product.

What is your privacy policy?

Personal information received by AdForum.com through the e-store will not be sold, bartered or distributed to third parties except to our partners who need information to fulfill their obligations and send the products that have been bought through our site. No credit card information is ever shared. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy Statement.
