Dogs Trust video learns awards fate

Last year, Spectrecom Films was the video production agency selected by top agency See.Saw to help create a unique project on behalf of the Dogs Trust. The video we produced was recently nominated for a major PR award – and on Wednesday, we found out whether it had won or not.

As we told you right at the tail-end of January, the campaign video we created with See.Saw, entitled ‘Hot Cars Kill Dogs’, was nominated in the ‘Best Use of Video’ category at the 2015 PRmoments Awards.

The ceremony took place in London on Wednesday night, and… the Dogs Trust video won! Hurrah!

Well done to the team at See.Saw and those from Spectrecom who worked so hard to make the production such a success: director Peter Ford, producer Laura Merrett, as well as James Adair, Alex Kerr, Laurentiu Maria and Eduardo Vento.

We’re delighted but not overly surprised at how strongly the video is performing – it was certainly one of our own favourites from 2014. And, as it happens, it’s also currently nominated for an EVCOM Screen Award.

It’s not just at the awards podium where ‘Hot Cars Kill Dogs’ has been demonstrating its qualities. It’s also been seen more than 60,000 times on YouTube and attracted coverage from The Daily Telegraph and other national media outlets.
