Opun video shows simpler way to a beautiful home

Home improvement can be a nervy business, with often substantial sums of money sunk into projects founded on recommendations from friends and a whole heap of faith and hope. This means that when things do go awry, the homeowner can be left with seemingly few options and scant support. Well, new online service Opun is aiming to change all that.

Opun brings together technology, trade experience and industry-leading guarantees to deliver a home improvement service fit for the 21st century.

Visitors to opun.co.uk can request a free quotation by simply filling in a short online form. They then receive advice from Opun’s handpicked trade experts, and all work is carried out by professionals who have been specifically checked, approved and invited to be part of the Opun family.

Because the service is online, the homeowner can easily contact the team, and all work is backed by a 5-year insurer’s warranty.

In order to get the word out about its offer, Opun has recently been collaborating with marketing agency Threepipe. In turn, Spectrecom is a regular video production partner of Threepipe’s, working with them last year on ‘The Perfect Cut’ and ‘Connoisseur: Jon Favreau’, both for Stella Artois.

As a result, we were asked to produce a homepage video for the Opun website, conveying just what it is Opun does and what makes it stand out from the crowd, all infused with the brand’s tone of reassuring calm.

We came up with the concept of showing a couple in their completed dream home before rewinding them (and the viewer) back through the process which saw that home brought to life – from meeting their Opun-approved trade professional, to the first step of sending an online inquiry.
