Story | When you have an idol in football, you buy a shirt with their name on it. But the Danish national team and its shirt sponsor Hummel reversed the idea. First, fans were asked to donate their own well-worn football shirts. These were cut to pieces and carefully sewed into new shirts, each patch representing the dedication of a loyal fan. In one of the last games before the World Cup, the team wore the shirts as a sign of gratitude towards the fans. |
