Story | A mother is sad as she helps her daughter move out of the house to start a new chapter in life. The moment is symbolised by an Ikea shelving unit on which the mother recorded her child's growth in pencil marks. Later, when the mother comes to visit, the daughter reveals that she's kept the shelf and its pencil marks as a memento. The goal of the film is to inspire people to live more sustainably: a new apartment doesn't have to be filled with new furniture. Ikea, where life happens. |
