Real people are asked to join forces in a “greening movement” that relies on everyone’s small actions to trigger a revolution on a higher scale. Each single step can be a milestone on the path to a better world.Timberland casted 12 individuals that are recognized as “heroes” within their communities because of their commitment to the environment and the cities they live in. Each “hero” represents a product story.They are creatives, artists, engineers, photographers, innovators, singers, fashion bloggers, urban eco planners, landscape architects, florists, writers, teachers from the 3 main corporate regions: NORA, EMEA and APAC. |

Story | Timberland wanted to gain relevance with the next generation of consumers by creating a campaign that is meaningful, purposeful and able to engage the community. The goal was to create an impactful 360° campaign leveraging on all communication touch points. Nature Needs Heroes campaign is Timberland’s call for change, a movement made of multi-disciplinary change-makers. The creativity brought the FW19 product collections to life through the heroes, shooting the main campaign in Berlin, juxtaposition of city and outdoors. Real people are asked to join forces in a “greening movement” that relies on everyone’s small actions to trigger a revolution on a higher scale. This campaign was the start of a process to change Timberland’s perception amongst new consumers. The FW19 NNH concept built a platform for people to get inspired and take action towards a more conscious lifestyle. |
