Founded in 2008, TROUBLEMAKERS is a production company and animation studio based in the heart of Paris. Our producers and directors are united by a common desire to challenge assumptions. To challenge the status quo, question each preconceived idea, question creative briefs again and again. We believe that it is by doing this that together we will be able to find the best possible ideas. Ideas that will be remembered in time. Ideas that transforms behaviour and gives rise to honest and truthful films.

In recent years we have produced numerous campaigns, some of which have won awards (Van Cleef & Arpels, Orange, WWF, CCTV and Amnesty International). This experience has encouraged us to develop longer formats. We are currently in development on several animated series and a feature film.

Our studio is equipped to meet all your needs in live action, 2D and 3D animation, mix-media, stop-motion, claymation, puppet animation, compositing, SFX and grading. James Hagger, the founder has been a jury member of the D&AD awards, Eurobest, Promax BDA and the Gobelins school of animation. He is also a member of the CJD and a board member of the APFP / UPC in charge of international relations.
