Title | McCharge |
Brief | With charging stations at 55 restaurants in Sweden, McDonald’s is the largest restaurant chain for electric car charging in the country. In 2020, all of McDonald’s drive-thru restaurants in the country would double as charging stations. And since they were "the gas stations of the future”, they mirrored traditional gas station communication by adding displays under the golden arches showing the current price for charging, alongside the prices of Big Macs and Happy Meals. Leading the way to fossil free highway stops. |

Story | With charging stations at 55 restaurants in Sweden, McDonald’s is the largest restaurant chain for electric car charging in the country. In 2020, all of McDonald’s drive-thru restaurants in the country will double as charging stations. As “the gas station of the future”, we copied the most traditional of traditional gas station communication and put up permanent installations under the golden arches displaying the current price for charging, and the prices of Big Macs and Happy Meals, gas-station style. To lead the way to fossil free highway stops. |
