Title45 years of controversy, 5 times fewer casualties (en)
BriefSeat belt use, helmet use, sober driving … Today these safety habits seem self-evident to everyone, but that wasn't always the case. Story Beginning July 2018, the authorized speed on 400,000 kms of two-way roads without a dividing line will be reduced to 80 km/h. All too predictably, this new road safety initiative is far from eliciting unanimity within the French public.
