About me

I’ve been reimagining brands, cultures, and entire organizations for 20+ years. As a senior executive and stakeholder at Wieden+Kennedy, I work shoulder-to-shoulder with colleagues and teams to solidify our position as the go-to agency for some the most recognized brands in the world.

What’s behind our success as individuals and as a company is unbridled, transformative creativity.

It’s at the heart of every advertising and marketing campaign. Every brand. Every market win. It’s in the inspiration behind our ideas, the courage that pervades our projects, the efficiency of our operations.

Creativity is everywhere at W+K. It makes us fire starters and brand builders. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

A few details about my background:

• Established the New Creative Opportunities function at W+K—a game-changer for the company.
• Identified exceptional talent and mobilized global teams to develop compelling marketing, branding, and advertising strategies and campaigns—and deliver hundreds of pitches (yielding many competitive wins).
• Pitched, won, and onboarded partnerships with new clients, including iconic brands such as Amazon, Airbnb, Booking.com, BMW, Facebook, Instagram, Levi Strauss & Co., NVIDIA, Samsung, Sony, Uber, Venmo, Verizon, and others.
• Made space for real conversations, tackled tough issues, and promoted diversity and inclusion (together with peers) to create an environment where people love to work.

Areas of expertise: Global Marketing Leadership, Integrated Marketing, Organizational Leadership, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Operations, Business Transformation, Business Development, Branding, Advertising, Campaign Development, Communications, Digital, Diversity & Inclusion, Team Building, Mentoring, Creative Leadership

Global Director of New Creative Opportunities | W+K Stakeholder 2009 - Apr 2022
Portland, Oregon, United StatesPortland, Oregon, United States
I was given the opportunity to establish the New Creative Opportunities function from its inception—this is our business development arm—and roll out this original way of promoting and scaling the organization across the entire W+K network (Amsterdam, Delhi, London, New York, São Paulo, Shanghai, and Tokyo).
My team and I target, pitch, and land new clients, including Fortune 500 players (Amazon, American Express, BMW, Facebook, Lilly, Samsung, Sony, Visa), high-growth tech companies (Airbnb, Instagram, Uber), anticipated up-and-comers (gopuff, Impossible Foods, Quibi), and many more.
We’ve designed and delivered hundreds of pitches—integrated marketing solutions, captivating advertising campaigns, digital strategies—and brought in multimillion-dollar partnerships.
Essentially, we’re shaping the evolution of W+K, one opportunity at a time.
Substantial new business wins have contributed to best-in-class industry recognition. W+K was honored as Ad Age’s Agency of the Year 6x, Adweek’s Agency of the Year 7x, Fast Company’s #1 Most Innovative Company in Advertising (3 consecutive years), and earned other awards as well.
In addition to my work as Global Director, which combines global marketing vision, strategy, operations, and leadership, I was named a stakeholder in the company in 2017. I work alongside executive colleagues to evolve and grow the agency—and create opportunities for the next generation of W+K— through vision, leadership, collaboration, passion, and profound creativity.I was given the opportunity to establish the New Creative Opportunities function from its inception—this is our business development arm—and roll out this original way of promoting and scaling the organization across the entire W+K network (Amsterdam, Delhi, London, New York, São Paulo, Shanghai, and Tokyo). Management Supervisor 2007 - 2009
I was promoted to this position, where I planned and executed the creative process—branding, marketing, advertising campaigns—for high-profile clients including Google, CareerBuilder.com, and Levi Strauss & Co. The Levi’s “Go Forth” campaign provided a meaningful shift for the client, and made a powerful impact with consumers. It was their first campaign in 20 years to be expanded into retail stores.I was promoted to this position, where I planned and executed the creative process—branding, marketing, advertising campaigns—for high-profile clients including Google, CareerBuilder.com, and Levi Strauss & Co. Account Supervisor 2005 - 2007
From my prior experience at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, I was an early adopter of digital marketing. I brought this knowledge and awareness with me when I joined W+K in 2005. As Account Supervisor, I worked with agency partners to drive integrated marketing communications across key projects—enriching engagements and improving campaigns for Fortune 500 clients such as Coca-Cola and Nike.
Account Manager - Media Manager
San Francisco, United States
2000 - 2005 (5 years)
In my first role with Goodby, Silberstein & Partners, I worked with colleagues on media and creative integration for client-driven projects, including a Discover Card initiative and E*TRADE’s acclaimed “Monkey” Super Bowl campaign.

I was promoted to Account Manager to plan, prioritize, and orchestrate digital and traditional projects, such as the first website redesign for General Motors (Saturn) and a global integrated campaign for HP. For the latter, I also traveled through Asia to gain approval and buy-in from HP decision-makers on a wide range of creative initiatives.
