TitleSnickers Suit Swag
BriefIn Canada alone, the NBA is sponsored by no less than 32 brands. There’s hardly anywhere you can look without seeing a logo. So when Snickers wanted to stand out from the crowd, it went somewhere no brand had gone before – the tunnel walk; the place where players show off their fashion savvy. After Toronto Raptor Delon Wright appeared in an outrageously oversized suit, the story was picked up by every major Canadian sports media outlet. But Delon's fashion faux pas was not entirely his fault. As Snickers knows, you're not you when you're hungry.

Story This year brands spent over a billion dollars sponsoring the NBA. In Canada alone, there are 32 brands sponsoring everything from the league, to the team, to the arena, to the players, and even the jerseys. There’s hardly anywhere you can look without seeing a logo. So when Snickers wanted to stand out from the crowd, they decided to go somewhere no brand had gone before – the tunnel walk. It’s where players go to show off the latest fashion and one of the most talked about trends in basketball.  Using Snickers’ iconic You’re Not You When You’re Hungry creative platform, we outfitted Toronto Raptor Delon Wright in an outrageously oversized suit that was sure to garner attention. The story was picked up by every major Canadian sports media outlet including Sports Illustrated, Sportsnet, TSN, ESPN and Bleacher Report. In the first 24 hours alone, our campaign generated 23 million earned impressions.
