Miranda completed a degree in fine art, film and video at Central St. Martin’s. She has a great eye for composing a shot to perfection and is brilliant with artists whether trained actors, celebrities, kids or “real people”.
Miranda’s feature drama of D.H. Lawrence’s ‘Women in Love’, starring Rosamund Pike, screened on BBC2.
Her sharp edged satire drama ‘Cast Offs’ was nominated for ‘Best Drama Series’ by the Royal Television Society in 2009.
Miranda also wrote and directed the short film ‘Honeymoon’. Co-produced by 2AM and FilmFour, it starred Emilia Fox and won best film at Brest Short Film festival.
She is just finishing post of her new feature ‘Gozo’, a psychological ghost story. Shot entirely on location on the island of Gozo with a cast including Joseph Kennedy (Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll) and Ophelia Lovibond (Nowehere Boy, Chatroom, Mr Popper’s Penguins).
