Mahfuzul Haque Ashique (Syed Mahfuzul Haque)

I was born in Mymensingh, Bangladesh in the year of 1990 and I have been completed my Master’s Degree of Bangla Literature from National University of Bangladesh in 2016. During my university years I was involve at Beginning Production Limited (Renown film production company in Bangladesh) as a Assistant Director for the film of “Are You Listening/ Shunte Ki Pao” at January 2011. I’m also Execute a film appreciation Course by Viktor Kossakovsky (Russian filmmaker) as an “Executive Intern” in 2012. I’m engaged since 2011 in almost all areas of media such as: Television Programs, TV Dramas, Documentaries, Feature films and TV commercials.
Before beginning work as a Video Editor, I have garnered experience working as an assistant director several TV dramas, documentaries and TV commercials. From 2013 I was working as a Video Editor and I have been enjoying my career in media as a successful Video Editor where I worked numerous popular productions well accepted by the audience and highly appreciated by the critics.
Among my most notable works, I have been edited and Color Graded several feature films, more than 1000 Thousands TV Commercial, 8 films and lots of TV series. My edited 1st Feature film “ Sutoper Thikana/ Her own address” win many awards from national and international festivals. My edited 2nd feature film “Oggatonama / The Unnamed” win 4 National Award along with many international awards. My role of this film is Associate Editor. My edited and color graded 3rd feature film “Jonmobhumee/ The Birthland” Also win many awards national and international festival.
Some of my TV Commercials also featured at “Ads of the World”. Currently I’m working as an Editor & Colorist at RRAN Production House, a sister concern of PRAN RFL Group. Pran production house produced more then 15 production in every month and I have all the production edit and Color Grade 60% of work. I have also edited many Documentaries, Docudramas for many renowned organisations; Such as -UNDP, JICA, ADB, Save the Children etc. I have also gathered working experiences with some projects for Bangladesh Television (BTV), the state owned Television network in Bangladesh. Regarding my work as an Editor I has been travelled outside to attend shooting
post work like- Thailand, India.
