Story
The 2010 song, "We No Speak Americano" was a bigger brand than the artist Yolanda Be Cool, reaching #1 on the Billboard Chart in 23 countries. With a new album coming out, the duo of DJs had to find a way to take credit for the song, while making room and introducing their new work. The campaign had to make Yolanda Be Cool as popular and recognizable as their previous hit. If they launched an album without taking credit for Americano, the album would have had none of the rub-off affect from their smash hit. So we wanted people to know, the DJs who brought you Americano are now bringing you their new album, Ladies and Mentalmen. Prior to the Product Recall, no one linked Yolanda Be Cool and Americano.
