Story | Did you know that your recycled plastic bottle could be transformed into a park bench? While much progress has been made in raising environmental awareness since the initial Earth Day, we are still a consumer-driven society that generates 250+ tons of garbage annually. With a vast array of new products and packaging infused into the fabric of our daily lives, the challenges are profound. In this spot we give garbage a voice. The “I Want to be” campaign educates and rewards people at the same time. Park and curbside bins come with a message reinforcing what people can gain if they recycle. The plastic bottles collected from the community/parks are recycled into a reward: benches made from the very same bottles. |
