Title | Turtle |
Brief | Idea: As wild animals are not adapted to the human environment, the unnatural contact to humans means permanent stress for them. Handprints symbolize the sad consequences that humans leave on wild animals through their constant touching and grabbing during vacations.Execution:The challenge was to make both recognizable at once: the human hand and the animal that suffers from it. We produced more than 500 real handprints and selected those that already had a certain similarity to the animals. After that, the characteristics of each animal were worked out with love for detail.Media:The campaign ran on ads in travel magazines and on 1650 posters and billboards at the Swiss International Airport and in train stations leading to the airport. It made more than 3 million travelers think right before their vacations and was multiplied countless times on social media. |

Story | The Swiss Foundation «Tier im Recht» (= Rights for Animals) wants to raise public awareness for animal welfare. In this case, the focus is on tourist attractions with wild animals. Many of these tourist attractions cause suffering. The campaign was launched on July 17, at the start of the travel season in Switzerland (summer vacations). |
