Title | 70% without identity |
Brief | In order to give back a voice and dignity to these people, we came up with "RiTratta", a campaign in which we took care of the artistic and creative direction, giving rise to a clear and high-impact message.Starting from the data on human trafficking, we decided to use a particularly powerful visual expedient: "Pixelating" some female portraits of women victims of slavery in the same corresponding percentage (precisely 70% women and girls). An effective solution to witness the progressive loss of identity but at the same time a restitution of an identity and a voice to those destined to live in the shadows. The centerpiece of the project is the official website ritratta.acra.it, with the concept also declined in a coordinated manner on social channels. |

Story | ACRA is a Milan-based non-profit NGO that has been working for more than 50 years for rights, environmental protection and gender equality, in Italy, Africa and Latin America, raising public awareness of a global phenomenon such as human trafficking. This is indeed a serious issue that represents a violation of human rights. In Europe alone there are about 24,000 victims of human trafficking, more than 70% of whom are women and girls, already victims of gender-based violence and exclusionary dynamics in their home countries. |
