Philosophy This season marks the 30th anniversary of Carlsberg’s sponsorship of Liverpool FC, the longest partnership in the Premier League. At a momentous time for probably the world's most famous football club, the FA Cup title holders go into this new season celebrating three decades of shared history with the Danish beer brand, a relationship which has endured the ups and downs, highs and lows of a long standing, but very special partnership.

In celebration of this, Carlsberg are launching ‘Forever Fans’, a multi-channel campaign across 26 markets worldwide which celebrates the club’s supporters and the moments in history Liverpool fans all over the world have been part of. In a truly collaborative global effort, by The Network partners Worth Your While, SMALL, The Council and Drive Studios came together to create a platform to inspire pride and passion amongst Liverpool FC fans across the world. The campaign ties in with the launch of six limited edition ‘Legends’ cans designed by Taxi Studio which each immortalize a legendary Liverpool FC fan favourite from the past three decades. Ian Rush, John Barnes, Sami Hyypia, Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher, and Luis Garcia are all honoured.

The ‘Forever Fans’ hero film is directed by award-winning Danish director Tore Frandsen. It relieves the glory of the past 30 years, taking the viewer on a three-decade long visual pub crawl down memory lane through legendary moments, frozen in time and tapping into a feeling all fans know, cheering on your club with one hand, while protecting your beer with the other.
