Remember when banners seemed like the forefront of advertising technology? Probably not. In fact, these days you may not even notice them, except when they gum up your YouTube viewing experience. With this in mind, Fevicol adhesive in India and its agency Ogilvy came up with a fun pre-roll idea. During what appear to be pre-roll ads for other products, characters get stuck fast to the Fevicol banner as soon as it appears. The agency says the approach complements Fevicol’s humorous TV ads. It’s always good to stick to your brand positioning.
