In Brazil, 70% of purchases are still made in store, but athletic gear buyers like to get some virtual advice before they decide. Bearing this in mind, sportswear brand MIZUNO recruited a team of influencers who were also sneaker experts. When a shopper selects a shoe in the store, a screen lights up to reveal an influencer, who gives them some information about their choice. The customer can even test the sneaker on a treadmill before committing to purchase. So by the time they’ve left the store, they can been sure they’ve gotten off on the right foot. |
