Dal.komm Coffee - "Mask ID"

Masks are slowly coming off all over the world, but until recently they were obligatory in public places – even if people often failed to wear them properly. This became a problem in South Korea, where slipshod mask wearing in cafés led to high rates of infection. As a result, people worried about their health began to avoid cafés. So the Dal.komm café chain found an original and friendly way to encourage its customers to wear their masks properly. It introduced a facial recognition system that allowed customers to access its Wi-Fi only if they were wearing their mask over their nose and mouth. So why not just log on and then lower the mask? Because the system regularly checked up on the user, thus “unmasking” the cheats
