Electricity / Silent Bus Sessions
Swedish soul-pop like you never heard it before. Listen to the pure and unaltered voices of Seinabo Sey and her friends from Tensta Gospel Choir on a electric bus in Gothenburg, Sweden.
A magic journey with amazed passengers on the number 55 bus on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon. The quietness of the bus made it possible to record the hit song ”Younger” a cappella. This version of Younger spread quickly and got over a million views at Facebook after just a few days.
Silent Bus Sessions are a series of acoustic concerts on the number 55 bus. The buses on the route are fully electric – no emissions and very little noice.
The Sessions also includes two surprise concerts on the electric bus with pop star Zara Larsson that created a lot of PR.
All in all the Silent Bus Sessions resulted in more than 120 editorials and millions of people listening to the silence at the electric bus. Not bad for a local campaign.
Behind the new electric bus route lies a cooperation between industry, science, city and region. The project is called ElectriCity.
