For the past two years, Blanca Gómara has been the Executive Creative Director of Dimension, an independent agency in her hometown of San Sebastián (Basque Country), after 24 years working in several multinational advertising agencies in Madrid. Her work has been awarded in the most relevant national and international festivals, including the FIAP Awards, Eurobest, Laus, ADCEurope Awards, Spanish Effies, CdeC, and El Sol, with campaigns for Repsol, Marca Sports Magazine, MoviStar, DGT (Spanish Oficial Traffic Department), or Once. Strategy has always had a strong presence in her creative work, to a point where companies such as McCann Erickson, Publicis and Y&R had to create a new position tailor-made por her unique skillset: Strategic Creative Director. This position has allowed her to serve as a link between the Creative and Strategic Planning Departments, providing a hybrid vision to the strategic and creative process, and to participate in the first, more conceptual stages of numerous successful campaigns. This creative-strategic vision is what fuels her passion for any work with strong insights and powerful creative concepts.
