Adam Smith

Adam Smith is the president of Davie Brown?s music division, leading on all strategic development and insight for The Marketing Arm and Davie Brown clients in the area of music sponsorship, music licensing, sourcing music talent, creation of ownable music platforms, and IP.

Previously, Smith was the vice president of corporate marketing and broadcasting for the NBA?s Los Angeles Clippers where he was responsible for the creation, development, and implementation of the team?s sponsor marketing partnerships. In addition, he directed the team?s radio, TV, and web initiatives, as well as its community relations programs.

Smith later served as the vice president of marketing for StreetZebra, Inc., a Los Angeles Internet start-up company focusing on the development of a local sports and recreation network. At StreetZebra, Smith managed a 20-person staff that included advertising, public relations, promotions, sponsorship sales, graphic design, and business development.

Prior to joining StreetZebra, Smith served as vice president of marketing for The Firm, a music management company, where he managed sponsorship and brand integration initiatives. One of the leaders in the music management space, The Firm?s roster included the Dixie Chicks, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Enrique Iglesias, Mary J. Blidge and Korn.

Smith, who began his career with SportsChannel in Los Angeles, was director of sports promotions for RPMC, a Los Angeles-based marketing and promotions agency, from 1991-1994, where he developed relationships with the major sports properties, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL.

Smith earned a bachelor?s of arts degree in political science from UCLA.
