Larry is one of FLY’s co-founders. He is an expert in metrics-based marketing, having over 20 years’ experience as a top marketing executive with some of the world’s most powerful brands. Even more impressively, Larry began his career as a middle school teacher at a progressive school in Northern California. Larry has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Dave is one of FLY’s co-founders. He has spent the past 32 years working as a top creative talent in New York City’s advertising community. He created over fifty ads in the original Absolut Vodka campaign while at TBWA\Chiat\Day. His awards include 2 MPA $100,000 Kelly Awards, 4 One Show Finalists, 1 Cannes Gold Lion, 7 Clios, 1 Art Directors Cube, 2 British D&Ads, 7 Andies, 8 Addies, 14 New York International Festival Golds, and 12 CA appearances. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and has been a faculty member at the Parsons School of Design since 1990.
Rich is a top-performing Senior Advertising Executive with cross-functional expertise in Media and Marketing. He has a proven track record of driving unprecedented results— combining big-picture strategic planning, innovation, and creativity with in-depth understanding of consumers and markets. He utilizes an innate understanding of consumer and market behaviors to conceive and execute campaigns that drive both client and agency visibility and success. Rich is adept in consistently negotiating value add-ons to media buys. He maintains an industry-wide reputation for skills in negotiating win/win deals.
John Friedberg is the leader of FLY Health, serving companies in new medical technology. Previously, John served as Managing Director of the Health Technologies unit of Cossette Communications in New York City, President of MCM Medical, and General Manager of ICC Lowe Redshift, an Interpublic Group company. John attended medical school at the University of Brussels, and has a keen insight into the special requirements of medical/healthcare marketing communications. His client experience includes Agfa HealthCare, Abbott Laboratories, and Medtronic. Of note, John headed the team that launched the first commercially available MRI (Fonar).
