| Story | During the German federal elections in 2017, the tone of right wing campaigns evoked nasty memories of the Nazis, with hate-filled pamphlets flooding the streets. To halt the hate, toilet paper company Goldeimer asked volunteers to collect the leaflets. Then it shredded them and turned them into toilet paper. Major media reported on the project and, instead of taking the hate propaganda seriously, millions of Germans laughed their asses off at the extreme right. |
