Title | Don't Waste: The print ad that was never printed |
Brief | “Daha Az Tüket!” means “Don't Waste!” Beko wanted to draw attention to is energy-efficient domestic appliances for Earth Day. Working with its agency, it redesigned the classified ads page of one of the most popular newspapers in Turkey. Nothing was erased, but by reducing the type size and compressing the ads a little, the tagline appeared as a white space. It was a print ad that didn’t waste any ink! |

Story | "Daha Az Tüket!" or in English: "Don't Waste!" Beko with its environmental vision provides products with energy efficiency and wants to put emphasis on the subject in communication. So, we were supposted to underline the importance of energy-efficiency for the Earth Day. We had a print ad idea for that. Didn’t print it though. Instead, we redesigned the classified advertisement page of one of the most popular newspapers in Turkey: Posta. Without erasing anything… We only reduced the type size and compressed the ads a little. Then we wrote the tagline only using the gap obtained. |
